On 8 July 2019, a regular meeting of the CEC of Russia was held.

On the monitoring of the situation in the election commissions of St. Petersburg municipalities

“Two groups of the CEC of Russia worked in St. Petersburg, and Yevgeny Shevchenko, Member of the CEC of Russia, traveled to the region to monitor the situation, and in cooperation with the St. Petersburg Election Commission problem situations that arose in the region were resolved”, said Nikolay Bulaev, Deputy Chairperson of the CEC of Russia.

He noted that due to the joint efforts of the CEC of Russia and the St. Petersburg Election Commission activities of the election commissions of municipalities were realigned in the manner prescribed by law.

“The registration phase has begun,” Nikolay Bulaev said. “We intend to continue providing our assistance to the St. Petersburg Election Commission.”

“We do not see the situation as unresolvable, but we observe the need for our participation in monitoring the situation in the region,” stressed the Deputy Chairperson of the CEC of Russia.

Nikolay Bulaev noted that election commissions of other regions work in the regular mode.

On transfer of electronic voting complexes to the CEC of the Republic of Tatarstan for use in the elections on 8 September 2019

Anton Lopatin, Member of the CEC of Russia, reported that an appeal was received from the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Tatarstan to allocate an additional amount of complexes for electronic voting for voting in the elections to be held in the Republic on 8 September 2019.

The Central Election Commission decided to allocate additional 30 complexes for electronic voting to the CEC of the Republic of Tatarstan and instructed the Electoral Commission of the Vladimir Region to transfer 30 devices for temporary use in Tatarstan.

About the complaint of the election association “Regional branch of the political party“ PARTY OF VETERANS OF RUSSIA ”in the city of Sevastopol” against the decision of the Sevastopol city election commission

The CEC of Russia received a complaint from the regional branch of the political party "PARTY OF VETERANS OF RUSSIA" in the city of Sevastopol about the resolution of the Sevastopol city election commission of 24 June 2019 No. 10 / 83-2 regarding the exclusion of candidates from the city list of candidates for deputies of the Legislative Assembly of Sevastopol of the second convocation who had been nominated by the regional office of the party. During the review of the complaint, it was established that the required documents were not submitted by the electoral association in due time and in the prescribed form. The CEC of Russia decided to leave the above-mentioned decision of the Sevastopol City Election Commission unchanged, and dismiss the complaint.

About the complaint of the election association “Regional Branch of the ALL-RUSSIAN POLITICAL PARTY “RODINA” in the Pskov Region” against the decision of the Election Commission of the Pskov Region

The CEC of Russia received a complaint from the election association “Regional Branch of the ALL-RUSSIAN POLITICAL PARTY “RODINA” in the Pskov Region” about the resolution of the Electoral Commission of the Pskov Region dated July 2, 2019 No. 99 / 536-6 about refusing to certify the list of candidates on the basis of non-compliance with the requirements for the nomination of candidates stipulated by Federal Law No. 95-ФЗ “On Political Parties”. The CEC of Russia decided to leave the resolution of the Election Commission of the Pskov Region unchanged, and dismiss the complaint.
