The CEC of Russia completed the registration procedure for deputies to the State Duma of the eighth convocation

On October 6, 2021, the CEC of Russia completed the registration procedure for deputies of the State Duma of the eighth convocation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

Chairman of the CEC of Russia Ella Pamfilova reported that the registration of deputies was finished: "On September 24, 2021 the CEC of Russia established the general results of elections of deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the eighth convocation, which defined the personal composition of elected deputies in the federal constituency - 225 people from five political parties".

The CEC head noted that in line with current legislation a number of elected deputies refused to accept the mandate of the deputy of the Eighth State Duma and 88 vacant seats were given to the next registered candidates from the relevant federal lists of candidates.

"As of October 6, 2021, the CEC of Russia registered all 225 deputies to the State Duma of the eighth convocation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. Thus, all 450 deputies of the State Duma are registered," said Ella Pamfilova. - On behalf of the CEC of Russia, I would like to wish the new State Duma maximum success for the benefit of voters and for the benefit of Russia as a whole.
